God is good! All the time! We celebrated 100 days of school this week and the kids had a fun time! We ate our cereal together, had devotions and looked back on God's goodness, and then celebrated with a variety of fun activities. The kids had cool ideas using a variety of items. We spelled out words with cups and linking cubes made the number 100 with dominoes and building blocks. The kids have such great imaginations! The students looked fabulous dressed as 100 year olds! What a blessing to be together! Pictures at the end of the blog.  HOMEWORK: New homework will be sent home on Monday, Feb. 9 and due back the 17th (because of the long weekend). Lots of hard work this week! We had a little more work this week because of the snow days last week. We are wrapping up some units in Math and Writing and are looking forward to continuing to move ahead in our learning! HOMEWORK: New homework will be sent home on Monday, Feb. 2 and due back the 9th. I am amazed at how much the students have learned so far this year and they keep growing and growing! It's so fun to see how much we have accomplished so far this year! Our classroom community continues to grow close, just like a family. It has been so great to laugh together, support each other, and pray for each other. Merry Christmas 2nd Grade Families! What an amazing week we've had together! We had a sweet chapel from the preschoolers and we have been finishing up some big projects in Writing and started a new math unit.  We also had lots of laughter and fun at our class Christmas Party! Thank you to Jessica Schutter, Emily Jones, and Danea Pena for planning some super fun things for our class Christmas party! We had lots of fun drinking hot chocolate together in the gym! The boys and girls are so excited to tell you all about all our adventures this week! Look for some pictures at the end of things we did this week! Homework: No homework due! We will start up after break! Library books are due on Jan. 7 Please make sure all books are returned after break!
