Can you believe it's almost November?! Lots of learning and fun together so far this year! Thanks for coming to conferences! It was great meeting with all of you and sharing the growth your child is making this year! Your children are so special!  Thank you for all the donations for the Hurricane relief! The table was full of great things to help! We celebrated our "Ouch' stories this week check some pictures at the end of the blog!

Homework:

Homework Folders came home on Monday, Oct. 14 and the work inside is due on Oct. 21. 
*Reminder- 100 minutes for Reading. This can be your child reading on his/her own OR you and your child taking turns.  
Math papers- time each half and see how many correct.  The goal is to get faster at our facts each time.

The 2nd graders know Psalm 23 so well!  Use it this month for devotions!

Library books due on Wednesdays!


Jungle  Explorer of the Week:
Elliot was our Jungle Explorer of the Week! Thanks for sharing your poster and pictures with our class! We enjoyed getting to know you and learning that you like playing football, playing with your friends, and playing piano and your favorite food is sushi! Your favorite place to be is Florida! We love that you want to be professional baseball player when you grow up! You are so special to God and to us, Elliot, and we loved getting to know more about you this week!






Pumpkin Day:

Our class will be having Pumpkin Day on Oct. 29! This is a fun day for the 2nd graders as we have many different activities to learn and do with pumpkins! Thanks to all of those that signed up to help!
