What a beautiful week it's been. It's amazing to witness the intricate changes in season that our Creative God has designed and puts on display each fall! We are reminded that despite what's going on in the world around us, God remains constant and He is with us! What a comfort that is!
Homework:
Homework Folders will come home again on Monday October 6, and the work inside will be due the following Monday, Oct. 13.
Reminder- 100 minutes for Reading. This can be your child reading on his/her own OR you and your child taking turns.
Math papers- time each half and see how many correct. The goal is to get faster at our facts each time.
We will have a test on our first 15 words next Thursday, Oct. 9, please review any words your child may need extra help remembering.
Friday Folders come back to school on Monday!
Psalm 23 will come home Monday in the Homework Folder.
Grandparents Day:
Jungle Explorer of the Week:
Sloane was our Jungle Explorer of the Week! Thanks for sharing your poster and pictures with the class. We enjoyed getting to know more about you! We learned that you like cheer leading. Your favorite food is a hamburger. Your favorite place is the beach and you want to be a interior decorator when you grow up! You are so special to God and to us, Sloane, and we loved getting to know more about you this week!
Lost and Found
The office is continuing to update our South Side Lost and Found Album as items come into the gray tub in the office. Please check it out to see if any of these items belong to your child. Feel free to email Rachel Steen, to claim your item(s), and we will be sure to get it into your child’s backpack.
