Can you believe it's almost November?!  Lots of learning and fun together so far this year! Thanks for coming to conferences! It was great meeting with all of you and sharing the growth your child is making this year! Your children are so special!   Thank you for all the donations for the Hurricane relief! The table was full of great things to help! We celebrated our "Ouch' stories this week check some pictures at the end of the blog! Homework: Homework Folders came home on Monday, Oct. 14 and the work inside is due on Oct. 21.  *Reminder- 100 minutes for Reading. This can be your child reading on his/her own OR you and your child taking turns.   Math papers- time each half and see how many correct.  The goal is to get faster at our facts each time. Grandparents/Friends

We had a fun visit from the 8th grade orchestra kids today! They played some songs for us and let the 2nd graders get up close to the instruments! They showed the 2nd graders how to play their instruments and then the 2nd graders played a song! Super fun! Look for pictures of this at the end of the blog. We had a super fun time with our grandparents/friends on Thursday! What a pleasure to see the beautiful connection between the generations! So much love to go around! What a beautiful week it's been. It's amazing to witness the intricate changes in season that our Creative God has designed and puts on display each fall!  We are reminded that despite what's going on in the world around us, God remains constant and He is with us! What a comfort that is!
