Pumpkin Day

Thank you for sharing your child with me again this week! Each new day with your child's smiling face is a blessing, and I love seeing their passion and joy for learning while exploring God's creation. The kids had fun at Sassafras Ridge enjoying the change of seasons! We celebrated Pumpkin Day and we had so much fun! Grandparents and Grandfriends

We had a fun visit from the 8th grade orchestra kids Wednesday! They played some songs for us and let the 2nd graders get up close to the instruments! They showed the 2nd graders how to play their instruments and then the 2nd graders played a song! Super fun! Look for pictures of this at the end of the blog. We had a super fun time with our  grandparents/friends on Monday! What a pleasure to see the beautiful connection between the generations! So much love to go around! God is good! All the time! We use these words as our call to prayer each day and it is a good reminder for all us. Even when bad things happen God walks with us and is always near us. He has chosen us and loves us all the time. We have seen how God used many situations in the Bible that were bad, and then turned used them for good and to help others know Jesus. What a beautiful week it's been. It's amazing to witness the intricate changes in season that our Creative God has designed and puts on display each fall!  We are reminded that despite what's going on in the world around us, God remains constant and He is with us! What a comfort that is! Walk-a-thon '25

We are in awe of God's faithfulness to His people despite their unfaithfulness to Him. What a beautiful reminder that our God who changes the seasons also holds each of us gently in His hands.  In Bible we saw God's amazing patience with His people and even though they went into captivity, He still promised them he would be with them and they would have the promise of the Messiah!  We had a great time at the Walk-a-thon! Plants

2nd graders are full of wonder! We have been learning abut seeds and what a plant needs! God has created some amazing plants and they are so unique and special just like each of the students in my class! We have had fun learning about some cool plants and we started some investigations into what plants need! We had a great time at the ODC and learned about how seeds move from place to place! First Full Week
